Assuming all will be well when Midgie returns from the workshop, I have started to think about the interior and the driving experience. First on my list was a replacement steering wheel. The standard item is not the nicest piece of plastic in the world. Taking advice from the MGOC forums, I avoided the ‘club’ steering wheel and looked out for an eBay bargain on a genuine Mota-Lita. Which I found, at the very reasonable price of £36, with an extra tenner for postage. I just have to order the boss to fit.

It’s not the standard 3 spoke chrome, which particularly attracted me, I think it will suit the interior.
